Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS)

Magellan monitors dozens of performance measures to better understand the impact of available behavioral health services for our members. These include measuring performance against national standards, such as the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and statewide comparisons drawn from the Pennsylvania-specific performance measure defined by Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO), the External Quality Review Organization (EQRO).
