FREE Integrated Health & Wellness Fair for Montgomery County Residents - Oct. 1
Magellan and Montgomery County Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities are holding their second Integrated Health and Wellness Fair!

Location: Plymouth Meeting Mall, 500 West Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting
The free event is open to all age groups and aims to create community awareness of local health and wellness resources for Montgomery County residents.
More than 60 vendors will offer services, such as flu shots; physical and behavioral health screenings; and educational resources for health, social and community support. Child-friendly activities, giveaways, and games and crafts also will be available.

Spotlight On: New Resources Available for Caregivers of Children with Autism
Magellan opens toll-free number following stabbing at Pa. high school
In response to the stabbing this week at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pa., Magellan Health Services has set up a 24-hour toll-free hotline for individuals to access, regardless of whether or not they are Magellan members. The toll-free number is 1-800-327-7451. The hotline is staffed by behavioral health professionals offering counseling services to help people deal with feelings of fear, sadness, anger and hopelessness that can occur following violent incidents.
